My First Experiences Working After 20 Years

I have been a homeschooling mom for 9 years now but am having to give it up and put the kids back in school. The youngest 4 have never been so this will be a new experience for them. My oldest has graduated and my second oldest is in her last year of high school homeschool. This will be my first time working in 20 years of being a stay at home mom and then a homeschool mom. I have also started a Yahoo group for Christian working women as well as this blog. Feel free to join, if you are a work at home or outside the home mom. This group is to encourage one another in all of our up and down struggles. The link is on the right hand side of my blog, at the top, if anyone is interested.

It has been slow going but I am hoping to pick up some steam and get my name out more than I have
been able to do.

I am also getting ready to embark on a new job at Chick-Fil-A as a Hostess/Greeter. I am quite nervous
about it as I am so afraid that I am going to fall flat on my face. But I have been praying hard about
it and hopefully the Lord will give me the strength to do what I need to do, to help out my husband with
the finances. He has a full time job but it is not enough to pay all the bills in this economy.
Everything is SO expensive! That is the main reason why I am laying down my homeschooling after all
these years. 

This blog will document all my ups and downs of getting back into the work force after 20 years of
being out of it. I am looking forward to seeing what the Lord is going to do but nervous at the same
time! Stay tuned.....
